Amazon is growing rapidly, and it’s not just because they’re adding new products. Amazon has been consistently increasing their sales volume and number of sellers since they began in 1994. Their growth can be attributed to the fact that they offer a wide range of products and services and sooner than competition.

There are many reasons why it’s a good time to sell on Amazon. You can reach more people than ever before. Additionally, you have access to a huge number of customers—almost half of all internet users worldwide have an Amazon account… Talk about brand trust!

Typically third-party marketplaces charge selling or referral fees. These referral fees are oftentimes dependent on category. But the Amazon marketplace charges a 15% referral fee on the gross sale of every item sold (excluding a few categories). We factor in all these fees when we price the items in your inventory.

On the Walmart marketplace, sellers also pay a Referral Fee for each product sold. The Referral Fee is calculated as a percentage of the gross sales proceeds from the sale of each product. The applicable Referral Fee is set based on the product type you choose during item setup. If an item has been set up in an incorrect category with a higher fee, but the product type aligns with a different Referral Fee, you will be charged the correct Referral Fee. Walmart’s referral fees average out around 10-15%.
